Description

The grapes of this extraordinary sweet wine are various white grape varieties of the area: they are harvested late, in several passages, in order to select only the bunches that have reached the correct degree of ripeness. A fundamental practice that also leads to the name of the wine itself, so called for the remarkable sweetness of these grapes, whose bunches are the favorite destination of bees ("abeilles" in French) who are greedy for them. The Overripe Grapes Wine "Les Abeilles" by Les Crêtes is a dessert wine that stands out for its aroma and balance, capable of surprising even many years after bottling.
