Etna Rosso DOC Planet 2020

Etna Rosso DOC is a Sicilian wine with very interesting qualities, proposed by the Planeta company. this winery, among the most representative on the island, has splendid estates under Etna. Here the soil is perfect for the production of great labels, thanks to the very rich volcanic components of the soil. The microclimate guarantees a good temperature range between day and night, allowing for optimal development of the grapes. For this wine, the 100% pure Nerello Mascalese grape is used, the best bunches of which are selected manually at the beginning of September. The must obtained by destemming the grapes is fermented in large steel tanks. The refinement takes place in wooden and steel vats for a period of about 8 months. Etna Rosso DOC is perfect for short-term consumption, given the freshness and medium structure of the wine, however it can be satisfactorily enjoyed even after many years of aging in the cellar.
