Description
The Grüner Veltliner Haid is a quality white wine proposed by the historic domaine Weingut R&A Pfaffl. This company is one of the most appreciated wineries in Austria and has been operating for years in the southern part of the country. At the base of the label is the Grüner Veltliner grape variety, a symbol of Austrian enology and cultivated on soils with a good marly content. The best grapes are selected manually at the end of September and brought to the company for cold pressing. After a period of rest in contact with the skins, the must is refined in large stainless steel tanks. The bottling is followed by an aging of at least 4 months in the cellars, a period after which the wine can be sold. The Grüner Veltliner Haid stands out among Austrian productions for its strong personality and its medium body. Definitely versatile and balanced, it will be able to splendidly accompany an important reception or a gala dinner. Excellent if consumed immediately, it also adapts well to longer aging in the cellar.
