Lagrein Alto Adige DOC Winery St.Pauls 2021

Lagrein Alto Adige DOC is a red wine made by the Kellerei St. Pauls winery, which is one of the wineries with the most experience in enhancing local varieties. This label is no exception, obtained from the exclusive vinification of grapes from the native Lagrein vine. This variety is intrinsically linked to the viticulture of the Dolomite lands, as it manages to express itself in an excellent way thanks to the strong thermal excursions and climatic conditions. On the alluvial soils of San Paolo the vines find excellent sources of nourishment and are carefully cultivated up to the manual harvesting of the bunches. Maceration and fermentation coincide and take place inside large stainless steel tanks at strictly monitored temperatures. The wine rests in the same containers to refine its aromas before bottling. Excellent immediately, Lagrein Alto Adige DOC manages to surprise even after a further rest of a couple of years in the cellar.
