It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Masseria Barbaresco DOCG is a wine that is born in the Vietti cellar of Castiglione Falletto. Located in the Langhe district, the company represents one of the oldest and most authoritative realities in the area. The grapes come from the Nebbiolo vineyards, grown 100% on calcareous and clayey soils exposed to the South/West at about 280 meters above sea level and favored by the typical temperate climate of the area. The training system adopted is Guyot. After the harvest and the selection of the best grapes, the alcoholic fermentation takes place for 3 weeks in steel vats in contact with the skins. During this phase, valuable cellar work is carried out, followed by malolactic fermentation. The refinement lasts about 30 months and takes place in barriques and oak barrels. Masseria Barbaresco DOCG is a balanced and soft wine, ideal to be tasted immediately, but it can evolve in the cellar for several years if correctly stored.
