Nebbiolo Langhe DOC Elio Altare 2022

Nebbiolo Langhe DOC is a wine that comes from the Elio Altare cellar in La Morra. Respectful of tradition, but with a truly unusual innovative spirit, the company represents one of the excellences of the Langhe. The grapes come from the Nebbiolo grape, grown on lands exposed to the South and South/East, rich in limestone and sand and favored by the temperate climate typical of Piedmont. All the working phases, from the vineyard to the cellar, are carried out by limiting any kind of intervention to a minimum, also avoiding clarifications and filtrations. After the harvest and the selection of the best bunches, the alcoholic fermentation takes place with maceration on the skins, in rotary fermenters. Subsequently, it is aged for 6 months in second-use French oak barriques and finally it is bottled and put on the market. Nebbiolo Langhe DOC is an intense and elegant wine, ideal to be tasted immediately, but it can evolve in the cellar for a few years if correctly stored.
