Large Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

The Biferno Rosso DOC "Ramitello" from the Di Majo Norante winery is considered an emblem of the Molise wine culture. The company is located in the Campomarino area, in the province of Campobasso, rich in vineyards cultivated with the organic farming system: this means that no synthetic chemicals are used (or rather, their use is very limited), both in vineyard, both in the cellar. The red in question is obtained from 80% Montepulciano and 20% Aglianico grapes, which ripen at about 100 meters above sea level and are harvested at the end of October. For the vinification of Biferno Rosso DOC "Ramitello" a traditional method is preferred, which provides for the maceration of the must in contact with the skins for a month. Aging takes place initially in steel tanks, then in barriques: thus preserving the freshness of the product and, at the same time, giving the wine a suggestive spicy scent. The last stage of the process takes place in the bottle for about 6 months. The Biferno Rosso DOC "Ramitello" is a red with enveloping tannins, characterized by a medium, soft and velvety body.
