It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

Romitòro Toscana IGT , made by the Castello Romitorio winery, is an important red wine that manages to tell, in a truly original way, the uniqueness of a territory such as that of Montalcino. What makes this label special is the selection of grapes used in the blend, which is made up of two international varieties: Petit Verdot and Syrah. After careful work in the vineyard, the grapes are harvested through a manual harvesting process when they have reached full maturity. Once they arrive in the cellar, they are subjected to an alcoholic fermentation, which takes place in steel tanks with the aid of devices to regulate the temperature. The refinement is inspired by a traditional philosophy and provides for a one-year rest in oak barrels. Consistent with its style, typical of Supertuscans, it is a decidedly fruity, soft, enveloping wine: the tannins are evident, but balanced, the body intense and full. The finish is warm and round. Romitòro Toscana IGT is a wine that can be enjoyed even after waiting 6-7 years in the cellar.
