Sauvignon 'Salici' Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Ronco del Gnemiz 2021

Sauvignon Salici Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is a white wine from the Ronco del Gnemiz winery, a production reality dedicated to the exaltation of the terroir of the denomination. This philosophy is found in the choice to let the peculiarities of the crus express themselves where the Sauvignon Blanc grapes are grown, destined to be vinified alone. In this case, it is the Salici vineyard: here the vines enjoy the nourishment ensured by the fertile soils of karst origin up to the manual harvest. Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and delicately pressed. These phases are followed by alcoholic fermentation in wooden vats. For ageing, the company chooses French oak barriques, where the wine remains for a few months before being bottled. Sauvignon Salici Friuli Colli Orientali DOC is perfect immediately, even if it manages to reserve pleasant surprises after 3-4 years of further rest, if well kept.
