It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Barolo DOCG Vigna La Rosa is a sumptuous and elegant red wine from the Fontanafredda winery, a large production company in Piedmont. The label is made by vinifying exclusively grapes of the prized autochthonous Nebbiolo vine, which are cultivated with the Guyot system in the La Rosa cru, a splendid vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba. Here the substrates rich in limestone and the optimal exposure guarantee the grapes the ideal environment for luxuriant growth. The harvest takes place in mid-October and is followed by a traditional type of vinification. For the refinement, which lasts three years, the company prefers a mix of large Slavonian oak barrels and other precious woods. Once bottled, the wine rests for another twelve months before being put on the market. In order to be appreciated at its best, Barolo DOCG Vigna La Rosa can be carefully stored for up to 6-7 years, a useful period of time to reserve great surprises for tasting.
