The Riserva Vigna Paganelli Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a wine that originates in the Il Poggione cellar in Sant'Angelo in Colle. Halfway between modern technology and the most ancient tradition, the company represents one of the historical realities of the area. The grapes come from Sangiovese vines, located on calcareous and clayey soils at about 450 meters above sea level. All plants are favored by the mild climate and proximity to the sea and Mount Amiata. After the harvest, the best grapes are vinified in steel, with a submerged cap for about 20 days. Then we proceed with the fermentation always in steel with indigenous yeasts and with the refinement for 48 months in French oak barrels. Before being put on the market, the wine needs a further period of rest in the glass. The Riserva Vigna Paganelli Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is an elegant and intense wine, ideal for immediate drinking, but can rest in the cellar for over 10 years before tasting.
