The Calvados Reserve du Château 8 Ans d'Age Château du Breuil was born from the proud Normandy tradition and has become a true symbol of the region's gastronomic heritage. This "young" Calvado matures in a fairytale setting, between the setting of the 16th century pink-tiled castle, the verdant plains of the Pays d'Auge and the majestic space of the Breuil Orangery, where the oak barrels rest: it is the assimilation between wood, air and apple cider that creates the most fascinating Calvados Pays d'Auge. The Château du Breuil company was founded in 1954 by Philippe Bizouard, whose family has always distilled Calvados. Today the distillery is one of the most prestigious calvados houses in France. Their spirits, certified Calvados Pays d'Auge (AOC), are exported to over 50 countries. Most of the apples come from the 42 hectares of orchards that Château du Breuil expertly cultivates and tends to. The fermented cider juice is distilled in copper stills, according to the traditional double distillation method of the Pay d'Auge. The Calvados Reserve du Château 8 Ans d 'Age Château du Breuil is then aged in French oak barrels and finally mixed thoroughly before bottling. It is perfect to sip during pleasant evenings with friends, but also excellent as a digestive or to correct coffee.
