'Cicala' Barolo Bussia DOCG Aldo Conterno 2018

The Cicada Barolo Bussia DOCG it is produced in the splendid area of Alba at the Poderi Aldo Conterno company whose main characteristic is to pursue the perfect combination of tradition and innovation, with the aim of obtaining excellent results. The grapes come from the classic Nebbiolo vines which, thanks to the clayey, slightly calcareous soil and the warm, temperate climate, are able to express themselves at their best in this territory. The harvested grapes are pressed and left to ferment in steel with the peel for about 30 days. To oxygenate the wine, several rackings are carried out, then it is placed in large Slavonian oak barrels where it is aged for at least 28 months. Cicala Barolo Bussia DOCG is a complex and well structured wine, being endowed with great longevity it can rest in the cellar for over 15 years to appreciate all its qualities.
