'Clesurae' Teroldego Rotaliano DOC Cantina Rotaliana 2012

Clesurae Teroldego Rotaliano DOC from Cantina Rotaliana is a refined and soft red, made with grapes of the same name, vinified alone. It finds its roots in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana, where the over 50-year-old vines are trained on a double pergola. The soils are well drained and composed mainly of sand, pebbles and gravel. The harvest takes place with strictly manual practices, generally between mid-September and early October. Fermentation takes place in French oak vats, while the rest phase moves into barriques, for a period of at least 24 months. Finally it evolves again in the bottle for the same amount of time. Clesurae Teroldego Rotaliano DOC Cantina Rotaliana is a red with great structure, excellent tannins, intense fruity notes and very persistent. Excellent to drink immediately, however it is capable of giving great surprises, if left to refine for a few more years in the cellar.
