Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Coste di Rose Barolo DOCG is an elegant red wine made by the Marchesi di Barolo winery, interpreter of the most authentic soul of this terroir. It is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, grown on the hill that gives the name to the label. The Coste di Rose plot is located in Bussia di Monforte: here the vines benefit enormously from some favorable factors, such as sun exposure and the presence of skeleton and minerals in the soil. At the end of an impeccable work between the rows, the bunches are harvested by hand and transported to the cellar where fermentation takes place. For the refinement, the winery relies on a mix of large Slavonian oak barrels and fine French oak barriques. In these vats the wine rests for a total period of a couple of years before bottling. Coste di Rose Barolo DOCG can be appreciated immediately, even if it gives the most refined and complex sensations after an evolution from 2 to 15 years.
