'Droppello' Toscana Bianco IGT TENUTA FERTUNA 2017

The Droppello Toscana Bianco IGT of Tenuta Fertuna was born in the Tuscan Maremma from Sangiovese vines which, despite being red berried grapes, thanks to a particular type of vinification give rise to this white wine. The reference territory has been appreciated for its productions since ancient times and this company has been operating since 1997 in the cultivation of vines, olive trees and cereals, combining modern technologies with traditional methods of harvesting and winemaking. The setting in which the vineyards are cultivated is the one that includes the Ancient Via Aurelia, between the Gulf of Follonica, Castiglion della Pescaia and Punta Ala, where a suitable microclimate is created for the ripening of high quality grapes, supported by an adequate terroir. The Droppello Toscana Bianco IGT, in particular, shows all the character of the Sangiovese grapes. With a typical yellow color with pink reflections, it has a delicate aroma and is persistent and fresh on the palate, with the right minerality and acidity. It is drunk young and is particularly suitable for light and informal meals with friends.
