It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

The first vintage of this wine is labeled 2006. The Koonunga Hill Seventy-Six Shiraz Cabernet, with its retro-style label, is a tribute to the famous 1976 Koonunga Hill 'Claret', a very successful and particularly significant wine in Penfolds. It is a wine that thirty years after the original wine, it pays homage to a unique and long-lived wine style. great olfactory and gustatory refinement, with remarkable structure and complexity." The Koenunga Hill Seventy Six Shiraz Cabernet is made to be drunk immediately, although, like all the red wines of Koonunga Hill, it has good aging prospects.
