Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Ballon
Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

The Cabernet Sauvignon Bin 407 red wine from the Penfolds winery is obtained from the exclusive use of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The vineyards are located in one of Australia's best wine regions, the Barossa Valley and the Clare Valley, where the soil structure and ideal microclimate allow the vines to grow luxuriantly and provide grapes of exceptional quality. For over 150 years, the activity of this winery has been distinguished by passion, dedication, commitment, work in the vineyard to provide wines with unique characteristics. The production of the Cabernet Sauvignon Bin 407 wine takes place with particular care and attention. The harvest is carried out rigorously by hand, proceeding with a selection of the bunches. After a soft pressing, fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature followed by maturation in French and American oak barrels and refinement in the bottle. The resulting wine is soft and enveloping, perfectly harmonious and balanced, with a good structure and excellent drinkability, ideal for accompanying a formal and elegant dinner.
