Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Bin 28 Shiraz Penfolds is produced from grapes that ripen under the sun of the Adelaide plain, in southern Australia, where the Barossa Valley is formed, land of the best Shiraz in the world. The area has a Mediterranean climate that varies from the heat of the valley floor to cooling at the higher altitudes of the hills surrounding the valley, low humidity and rainfall. Bin 28 Shiraz Penfolds enhances the robust, yet round and fruity nature of Shiraz grapes; the first vintage of "Bin 28" was vinified in 1959 by the legendary Penfolds winemaker Max Schubert. It is a structured, important, rich and powerful wine, it is already ready today, but it has a significant potential for durability over time and will give great satisfaction tomorrow.
