Uva Viva Rossa is a distillate from the Jacopo Poli distillery, an established company in the Veneto region, based in Schiavon, where it boasts experience in the production of grappa, liqueurs and distillates, since 1898. The raw material of this characteristic distillate is the Strawberry (or Americana) grape from the Venetian hills of Marostica, a grape with a characteristic and light strawberry fragrance. A peculiar element of the Jacopo Poli distillery and its refined Uva Viva Rossa distillate is the ancient artisanal distillation method: this takes place in a bain-marie, through the use of small copper boilers called Alambicchi. The delicate and homogeneous heating of the fermented grape must completes the distillation process and the Uva Viva Rossa product thus comes to life.
