Lugana DOC Sansonina - Zenato 2021

Lugana DOC is a wine produced at the Sansonina winery in Peschiera del Garda. The company belongs to the Zenato family and since the 1990s it has represented one of the model realities of the Valpolicella area, thanks to the combination of tradition and innovation. The grapes come from Lugana vines grown in purity on soils rich in limestone, clay and skeleton. The harvest is carried out very late, through a careful selection of the best bunches, then they are collected in crates and taken to the cellar. The delay in the harvest is motivated by the desire to make the plant reach greater expression, thanks also to the particular temperature variations of the month of October. Subsequently the alcoholic fermentation is carried out in steel containers where the refinement also takes place for a few months. The final stage involves bottling and placing on the market. Lugana DOC is an enveloping and light wine, perfect for ready to drink.
