It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Mosconi Barolo DOCG is a wine that is produced at the Pio Cesare winery in Alba. The traditional style and constancy are the characteristics of the company, which represents one of the most appreciated and well-known companies in the world. The grapes come from the Nebbiolo vines, grown on soils of calcareous origin and rich in marl. The continental climate with temperature ranges is a favorable element for the optimal maturation of the plants. The training system adopted is Guyot. After the manual harvest and the selection of the best grapes, fermentation takes place in steel tanks with maceration on the skins for about 30 days. The refinement phase takes place for 30 months in oak barrels and to a small extent in barriques. Finally we proceed with the bottling and marketing. Mosconi Barolo DOCG is an elegant and soft wine, perfect to be tasted immediately, but it can evolve in the cellar for over 10 years if correctly stored.
