Pinot Noir 'Hausmannhof' Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC Haderburg 2020

The Hausmannhof Alto Adige DOC Pinot Noir is an excellent red made by the Haderburg winery, a renowned reality of South Tyrolean viticulture. It is obtained by vinifying exclusively Pinot Noir grapes, a variety that in South Tyrol finds the ideal conditions to express itself with great elegance. The vineyards boast specimens of plants with an average age of over 25 years and enjoy favorable conditions for producing luxuriant bunches, including the clayey-limestone soil and western exposure. At the end of the work in the vineyard, the harvest involves a manual selection of the grapes. The vinification begins with the alcoholic fermentation inside steel tanks, with mechanisms to regulate the temperature. For the refinement, which lasts 12 months, the company follows the tradition using barriques in the second or third passage. The result is a perfect wine already after bottling, even if Pinot Nero Hausmannhof Alto Adige DOC is able to give pleasant sensations 3-4 years later, if carefully stored in the cellar.
