Rum Chairman's Reserve The Forgotten Casks is a limited edition of Saint Lucia Distillers. The distillery is located in the Roseau valley, on the island of Santa Lucia (in the Caribbean). Here, following the rigorous English tradition, some of the most appreciated blends in the sector are tirelessly produced. The rum in question is a more unique than rare product: in fact, it comes from the distillate contained in some almost forgotten barrels, after a vast fire destroyed the distillery in 2007, forcing the company to keep the reserves in emergency shelters. It is a distillate left inside the oak barrels between six and eleven years; before being bottled, the blending experts carry out the assembly of different lots, after which the rum is transferred back into oak barrels, where it remains to refine for six months.
