It is the perfect goblet for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile and this is possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

The Sauvignon SVG 920 white wine from the Masseria Frattasi winery is obtained from the exclusive use of prized Sauvignon grapes. The particular name of this wine is due to the average altitude of the vineyards, precisely 920 metres, which are located on soils rich in limestone due to their volcanic origin. The altitude is among the most extreme in Italy and Europe (for the cultivation of vines). The excellent climatic conditions of the Benevento hills complete the work ensuring the production of excellent quality grapes. To produce the Sauvignon SVG 920 wine, every aspect is studied in detail. The harvest, carried out by hand, begins only when the bunches have reached the right ripeness. The fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in steel tanks, as does the maturation. The result is a very balanced, refined and full-bodied wine, it offers the nose with typical aromas of the varietal of aromatic herbs and white-fleshed fruit. In the mouth it is fresh and pleasantly sapid, dry and with a smooth sip. It is an intense and refined white, dedicated to those who love the mineral freshness of mountain wines. The sip is lively and snappy, green and sharp, a savory and vibrantly fresh finish. really special!
