'Trattmann' Pinot Nero Riserva Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC Girlan 2020

Trattmann Alto Adige Pinot Nero DOC is a Girlan label, a reality created to bring together various Cornaiano winemakers and put their experiences to good use. The cellar faithfully interprets an area suited for the cultivation of Pinot Noir, which is used alone in this wine. Following a harvest inspired by traditional philosophy, the carefully selected grapes are taken to the cellar. Here they are subjected to a soft pressing and maceration aimed at obtaining an intense color from the light colored berries that characterize this vine. The fermentation in steel tanks lasts a maximum of twenty days, while the refinement lasts approximately fifteen months and takes place in oak barrels, both large and small. Ready to be enjoyed right now, Trattmann Alto Adige Pinot Nero DOC still boasts all the potential to further refine for another three or four years if stored in the cellar.
