Vinopuro's advices

Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Barbaresco DOCG Riserva Asili is a legendary label from the Piedmontese winery Bruno Giacosa . This structured and nuanced red wine is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Nebbiolo grapes. It is a native variety that expresses itself optimally in the Langhe, but in the Asili cru it reaches levels of absolute excellence. Here the vines benefit from a soil with a good limestone and clay component, as well as an ideal south-west exposure. After a manual selection during the harvest, the grapes are left to ferment in stainless steel tanks for three weeks. Refinement follows, which takes place in large oak barrels for two years. Being a Riserva version, this wine is produced only in the most favorable years. A bottle of Barbaresco DOCG Riserva Asili should be kept to be enjoyed on special occasions, it can also be left to evolve in the cellar for up to fifteen years.
