Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Barbaresco DOCG Valeirano , an elegant red wine produced by the La Spinetta winery, pays homage to the characteristics of a suitable terroir. It is obtained from grapes of the native Nebbiolo vine coming exclusively from the Valeirano vineyard in Treiso. The almost sixty-year-old vines grow luxuriantly thanks to the nourishment offered by the clayey and sandy soils, the ideal sun exposure and the skilful action of the winemakers. The manual harvest is followed by destemming and a short maceration. The spontaneous and thermo-conditioned fermentation of the grapes does not last more than two weeks. The malolactic fermentation involves the use of French oak barriques for the most part in the second passage, where the wine also remains for the refinement which does not exceed 22 months. After a further 6 months rest in the bottle, the wine is ready for marketing. Excellent right from the start, Barbaresco DOCG Valeirano is a red that lends itself to long evolutions (even over 10 years) in the cellar which allow you to appreciate the complex scents.
