Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Barolo DOCG Via Nuova is an elegant red wine from the Chiara Boschis - E. Pira & Figli winery, which through this label expresses the most authentic character of the most prestigious denomination in the Langhe. The attention to quality is maximum, as evidenced by the commitment to selecting the best Nebbiolo grapes grown in no less than six owned vineyards, among which Terlo and Liste stand out, in the municipality of Barolo. After a harvest aimed at choosing the best bunches, the vinification in the cellar starts with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The refinement phase involves two steps, the first of which involves a two-year stay inside large oak barrels and barriques. Finally, the wine ages for at least 12 months in the bottle before being put on the market. The nose is complex, persistent and intense. In the mouth it is powerful, balanced and elegant, a wine of great personality. Barolo DOCG Via Nuova can be left to rest in the cellar for more than ten years, during which it acquires increasingly intense and evolved scents.
