Champagne Brut AOC
is the flagship label of the famous Maison Delamotte
. The cuvée is the result of a skilful blending: 55% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier. These grape varieties are grown in the Grand Cru villages of Mesnil, Cramant, Avize and Oger, located in the heart of the famous Côte des Blancs. The element that unites these vineyards is the soil, a classic of the Champagne region. The calcareous and gypsum-rich soil, composed of calcite grains deriving from marine microorganisms, gives the grapes a subtle and profound minerality. The grapes are selected with care, harvested by hand and, in the cellar, the different varieties are vinified separately. The base wines thus obtained, after a short period of rest, undergo a refermentation in the bottle according to the Classic or Champenoise method, maturing on the lees for 36 months. Champagne Brut AOC Delamotte
is a well-structured bubble, ideal to drink immediately.
