Gewürztraminer 'Merus' Alto Adige/South Tyrol DOC Tiefenbrunner 2022

From the great experience of the Tiefenbrunner family, which has been producing excellent wines for 7 generations now, comes the Merus Gewurztraminer Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC , a white wine obtained from 100% Gewurztraminer grapes. The vineyards of the property, which cover over 25 hectares in the areas of Niclara and Cortaccia, in Alto Adige, are located at 260-470 meters above sea level and enjoy clayey-limestone soils, very suitable for this type of cultivation. The harvest takes place manually, in the traditional way and the must ferments in steel containers, the refinement lasts 4 months and is carried out in cement tanks on the lees. It is a winemaking process that expresses all the character and soul of the territory and of the vine. Merus Gewurztraminer Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC is a full-bodied, fresh and savory wine, very aromatic, rich and can be drunk immediately or left to rest in the cellar for 2-3 years.
