The Alto Adige DOC Pinot Noir from the prestigious South Tyrolean winery Franz Haas, a great cultivator of one of the most difficult vine varieties to cultivate, is an extremely refined red wine, which has received various awards both nationally and internationally. A great red, for a label that represents one of the best expressions of the Bel Paese of this important French vine, the result of meticulous processing and a high knowledge of the territory that welcomes it. This important red is produced from the vinification of 100% Pinot Noir grapes from vineyards cultivated in the hilly area of Gleno, Mazzon and Pontagna. After the harvest, the grapes undergo a vinification in open tanks, in which the must ferments in contact with the skins; this technique allows the wine to be enriched with all the aromas present in the skin. Finally, the Alto Adige DOC Pinot Noir is aged for one year in barrique, after which it is bottled. However, before being marketed, it is still aged in the bottle for a few months. The result is a round, lively and particularly fresh Pinot Noir, a medium-bodied, balanced and aromatic red that stands out for its elegance.
