'Sterpi' Derthona Vigneti Massa 2018

Sterpi Derthona is an elegant white wine produced by the Piedmontese winery Vigneti Massa . It is mainly obtained from Timorasso grapes, an autochthonous vine that is grown on the single vineyard that gives its name to the wine, a real cru. The brushwood evoked by the label is evidence of the research process that has led this company to select the best land with great care. The vineyard stands on calcareous-clayey soils that are exposed to the south-west and have regained their dignity after years of abandonment, by virtue of an impeccable work among the rows. Once the best bunches have been harvested, the vinification involves the use of indigenous yeasts only. The grapes are left to macerate and ferment. The refinement lasts for at least a year until bottling. Sterpi Derthona is an intense, expressive and elegant white wine that can be opened immediately with satisfaction, as well as after 4-5 years of rest in the cellar.
