Obtained from the vinification of pure Nebbiolo, a late harvest is carried out, allowing the grapes to begin a slight natural dehydration process on the plant, with a consequent increase in the sugar concentration. The vineyards are located at about 600 meters above sea level, in the area called Ere. Almost close to the first snows, between the middle and the end of November, the grapes are harvested with care, to then proceed to a soft pressing to be vinified. Aging in wooden barrels for 12 months completes the elegant profile of Ultimi Raggi Valtellina Superiore DOCG Sassella Riserva , an extraordinary wine, a tribute to the last rays that the sun gives to these lands before the winter rest. Bouquet of complex notes, with hints of overripe fruit, raspberries, cherries and tertiary aromas such as spices and cocoa. On the palate it is full-bodied, warm and structured with a very long finish. Perfect to drink immediately, it evolves in the cellar without any problems for several years.
