Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon flute
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for classic method sparkling wines (or champenoise) and champagne: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, it favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion; the body of this glass is a little wider than a classic flute and favors the perception of more intense and complex aromas.

Description
Champagne Clos des Goisses Extra Brut is produced by the prestigious Philipponnat maison, which adopts an approach aimed at authentically narrating the terroir of the region. It is mainly obtained from Pinot Noir grapes, which represent 71% of the blend, with the addition of the remaining percentage of Chardonnay grapes. Located in Mareuil-sur-Ay, Clos des Goisses is a small hilly plot characterized by steep slopes, chalky soils and an excellent southern exposure, a true and prestigious Cru. The hand-picked bunches come from 15 parcels and are kept separate for the subsequent stages of vinification. After the fermentation in wooden vats, during the refermentation in the bottle foreseen by the Champenoise Method, the refinement takes place on the lees. This phase lasts eight years and ends with the traditional disgorgement and the addition of very little liquid. Champagne Clos des Goisses Extra Brut is a truly sublime label, the result of meticulous work, of great elegance, intensity, but also complexity and finesse: a champagne very suitable for important moments, which knows how to reserve pleasant sensory surprises immediately, but also after a ten years of rest in the cellar.
