Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon flute
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for classic method sparkling wines (or champenoise) and champagne: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, it favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion; the body of this glass is a little wider than a classic flute and favors the perception of more intense and complex aromas.

Description

From the best vineyards located in Ambonnay, in the heart of the Reims mountain, in the Champagne region, the Champagne Brut Grand Cru is produced by the Egly Ouriet cellar. The Maison was born at the end of the Second World War and is currently one of the most representative realities of the territory. The grapes come from the Pinot and Chardonnay vines, grown in a calcareous and chalky soil, thanks also to the particularly mild climate. The champagne is produced using the Champenoise Method, with vinification carried out partly in wooden barrels and with refermentation in the bottle, using only indigenous yeasts. After vinification, it rests for another 12 months, so that it can clarify naturally. The bottling takes place without filtering through the pouring of 50% of the "reserve" wine. Champagne Brut Grand Cru is intense, elegant and pleasant and is perfect for immediate drinking, but it can rest in the cellar for a few years thanks to its potential longevity.
