Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon flute
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for classic method sparkling wines (or champenoise) and champagne: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, it favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion; the body of this glass is a little wider than a classic flute and favors the perception of more intense and complex aromas.

Description

The extraordinary champagnes of the Dom Pérignon line are a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, even if the final composition changes with each vintage, or with each vintage: sometimes it is a blend in perfectly equal proportions (for example in 1990), sometimes up to 60% Chardonnay (1982) or 60% Pinot noir (1969). The grapes come from some of the oldest and most precious vineyards in the Grand Cru and Premier Cru areas. At the base there is a strict selection that admits only the best grapes, those truly worthy of being transformed into the Champagne Brut Rosé that will bear the signature of Dom Perignon. The individual wines (Chardonnay and Pinot noir) are made with rosé vinification and, once the various parts have been assembled, the wine is bottled and sent to the second fermentation. The rest on the lees is very long and elevates an already noble base to absolute excellence. The wait for the disgorgement is 84 months. It is here that the wine takes on all its richness. Dom Perignon Rosé is a large and majestic vintage Champagne: a champion of rare elegance and complexity. It is characterized by an intense pink color, with amber and coppery reflections. The nose opens with an intense and rich bouquet, with elegant aromas of wild strawberries, enriched by delicate hints of violet and pleasant spicy notes of vanilla. On the palate it is broad, structured and full-bodied, with a pleasantly spicy finish. Wide, precise, of great elegance, it reveals a truly important potential longevity. We remind you that, in general, the rosé versions of Champagne (and sparkling wines, in general) are the most coveted by enthusiasts and experts.
