Description
The Vermentino di Sardegna Classic Method DOC Millesimato Filighe sparkling wine from the Giovanni Maria Cherchi winery is obtained by using the delicious Vermentino grapes in an exclusive way. The vineyards are located on the hills near Usini, in the heart of Sassari, which are characterized by calcareous soils which provide the aroma and flavor of the grapes. For over three decades this winery has become a reality in the Sardinian winemaking field, oriented towards the full valorisation of the territory. The production of the Vermentino di Sardegna Metodo Classico DOC Millesimato Filighe sparkling wine follows a precise production process to bring a typical vine such as Vermentino to the sparkling process. After the harvest, the bunches are softly pressed and left to ferment for a short time. The must is then left on the lees for a long time to allow for the second fermentation. The result is a fresh and elegant sparkling wine, with good harmony and structure, elegant as an aperitif, but also suitable to accompany important first courses and white meats.
