Description
Mycorhize Champagne Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is produced by De Sousa , a maison that fully exploits the peculiarities of the Champagne area. Being a Blanc de Blancs, it is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Chardonnay grapes. The bunches come from a single parcel with vines over sixty years of age, Les Hauts Nemery, located near Avize, a Gran Cru area, meaning the top of quality. After a careful harvest, the vinification involves the use of oak barriques, where the grapes ferment spontaneously. The second fermentation in the bottle lasts 3 years, a period in which the wine seals all its complex sensory notes. When the moment of disgorgement arrives, a small percentage (3 grams per litre) of Liqueur is added. Mycorhize Champagne Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is excellent immediately, but can evolve up to 5-6 years in the cellar.
