Description
Fifteen16 Extra Brut Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG is produced by the Treviso winery Col del Sas - Spagnol . It is obtained from the vinification and sparkling process of grapes of the native Glera vine which are grown on the Cisa hill, near Pieve di Soligo. The vines are exposed to the south and enjoy particularly favorable conditions to grow luxuriantly until the time of manual harvest with selection of the best bunches. Upon arrival of the grapes in the cellar, the winemaking process begins with the first fermentation in open steel vats and then continues in the same containers with aging on the fine lees for six months. Once the skilful blending of different vintages is concluded, the second fermentation takes place inside modern autoclaves in line with the provisions of the Charmat Method. Fifteen16 Extra Brut Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG is meant to be tasted shortly after bottling, in order to fully appreciate the fresh and delicate varietal notes.
