Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Description
Sassella Valtellina Superiore DOCG Riserva is a structured red wine, produced by the Balgera winery. It is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Chiavennasca grapes, the local name of Nebbiolo. The plots are located near Teglio and enjoy ideal conditions for the luxuriant development of the vines. The manual harvest provides for a rigorous selection of the grapes. Only the best bunches are harvested and transported to the cellar, where the vinification begins with spontaneous fermentation on indigenous yeasts in contact with the skins which lasts up to a month. The refinement of this wine involves a skilful process perfected over the years. After a 6-month decantation in steel, the wine ages for 10 years in large oak barrels. Once the bottling is completed, another two years of rest in glass follow. Sassella Valtellina Superiore DOCG Riserva is a red wine designed to sustain long evolutions, which reach up to ten years.
