Ideal for Charmat method sparkling wines: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, this glass favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion. The narrow opening helps the concentration of the perfumes.

Description

The Spumante Brut 26° Primo Rive di Col San Martino is one of the products of the Andreola winery, founded in 1984 by his father Zeno and successfully managed today by his son Stefano. We are located in the areas of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, where the vineyards grow in soils rich in mineral salts which guarantee a high quality product. It is made with a blend composed of 100% Glera grapes, the best used for Prosecco. It is a white grape variety, with golden yellow berries, abundant and elongated bunches, chocolate-colored branches. The vine has been mentioned since the ancient Romans and in the documents of authors, writers and expert winemakers of the 18th century. The grapes are harvested in the first half of September, vinified in white, in purity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, through maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature of 18 °C, for 11/13 days. The second fermentation occurs with the Charmat method, refermentation in autoclave for a month and aging for about 3 months, before arriving on the table.
