Description
In the Caldaro area, in South Tyrol, on the calcareous soils that rise in the shadow of the Dolomites, Athesis Brut Spumante Classic Method Alto Adige DOC from the Kettmeir winery is born, a wonderful example of South Tyrolean sparkling wine production. The 60 members of the winery produce in an area that extends for 55 hectares, the Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Nero grapes, from whose harmonious fusion comes Athesis Brut Spumante Classic Method Alto Adige DOC , a wine that stands out for its elegance and softness. After the harvest, in September, the bunches of the 3 varieties are gently pressed and then left to ferment separately in steel tanks, subsequently the refermentation in the bottle is carried out, according to the dictates of the Classic Method. The refinement lasts 24 months on the lees. The resulting product is a bubble to drink immediately, of great elegance, very balanced, which gives the sip all the freshness of the Dolomites.
