Description
The Champagne AOC Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Crù of the Maison Legràs & Haas is one of the flagships of the transalpine winemaking tradition in bubbles. The famous French winery was founded in Chouilly in 1991 by two friends, Brigitte Legràs and François Haas, who share a passion for wine. To date, the winery has about 30 hectares of vineyards, which extend into the Champagne region, where constant rainfall provides an ideal water supply for the correct growth of the grapes. Champagne AOC Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Crù is produced entirely from Chardonnay grapes, characterized by a tender skin and a golden-yellow colour. After the first fermentation in steel for 7 months, refermentation in the bottle is carried out according to the Champenoise Method; the subsequent aging on the lees lasts for 36 months. It is a fresh and delicate champagne with a fine and persistent perlage, ideal for immediate consumption but which can also be kept in the cellar for a few years.
