Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon flute
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for classic method sparkling wines (or champenoise) and champagne: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, it favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion; the body of this glass is a little wider than a classic flute and favors the perception of more intense and complex aromas.

Description
Quattrocento 40 Lune Spumante Classic Method Extra Brut is produced by the Nicola Gatta winery. The label is the result of a blend that largely includes Chardonnay grapes, present for 70%, to which bunches of Pinot Noir are added. The plots are located near Gussago and Cellatica and stand on hills with calcareous soils. Among the rows, the works are inspired by the biodynamic philosophy, in line with the rhythms of nature. Once the careful manual harvest has been completed, the grapes are left to ferment spontaneously inside steel tanks. According to the provisions of the Classic Method, the aging on the lees takes place during the second fermentation in the bottle, which lasts, on average, 40 months. A minimum percentage of liquer d'expédition is added to the disgorgement. Quattrocento 40 Lune Spumante Metodo Classico Extra Brut can be enjoyed with pleasure immediately, as well as after resting for a few years in the cellar.
