The Ravera Vigna Elena Barolo Riserva DOCG is a Piedmontese excellence of the Elvio Cogno winery of great quality that comes from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The vines grow in the Ravera cru, located in the Langhe at about 380 meters above sea level. The soils are particularly suited to the cultivation of vines, thanks to their clayey-calcareous composition. Even the mild and breezy climate helps to give the wine particular aromas. The cellar collects the grapes with care and attention in the first ten days of October. Once the must has been obtained, the company carries out a fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature, followed by a period of 36 months of aging in oak barrels. Finally, the wine ages for a few more years in the bottle. At the end, the Ravera Vigna Elena Barolo Riserva DOCG is ready to be drunk with great satisfaction, however it has the ability to evolve further if left to rest in the cellar for a few years.
