Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Ballon flute
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for classic method sparkling wines (or champenoise) and champagne: being narrow, with a pointed bottom, it favors the development of bubbles (perlage), avoiding their dispersion; the body of this glass is a little wider than a classic flute and favors the perception of more intense and complex aromas.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
The delicate Contessa Rosa Alta Langa DOCG Brut Rosè from the Fontanafredda winery is obtained from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. The vineyards enjoy an optimal south-west exposure and substrates with sand and clay. Once the harvest is complete, a percentage of red berried grapes is left to partially macerate on the skins to extract the colour. The grapes are then vinified separately by variety: on the one hand the Chardonnay ferments in traditional oak barriques, on the other the Pinot Noir retains its vigor by fermenting in steel vats. After blending, the moment comes for refermentation in the bottle, a typical refinement process of the Classic Method which in this case lasts for two years. During disgorgement, a minimum percentage of "liqueur d'expedition" is added. Excellent to drink immediately, the Contessa Rosa Alta Langa DOCG Brut Rosè also lends itself to a further evolution of 6-7 years.
