Description
Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Brut is produced by the Treviso winery Col De' Salici . The label is the result of the single-variety vinification of Glera grapes, the native vine par excellence of the area. The plots are located in the heart of the denomination at about 200 meters above sea level. On the clayey soils of morainic origin, the vines find the ideal environment for luxuriant growth, thanks also to the microclimate and south-east sun exposure. These conditions are carefully preserved through meticulous work between the rows. The harvest with manual selection of the best bunches is followed by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation, which lasts up to a maximum of twenty days. In line with the traditional Martinotti Method, the subsequent refermentation takes place inside large autoclaves. By virtue of its peculiarities, Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Brut is designed to be best appreciated when young, so as to fully savor its varietal freshness.
